Guan Yin Vegetarian

Who says vegans can’t support local hawkers, or that vegan hawker food is always oily and unhealthy? :) a lovely elderly couple tends to this stall. The food is tasty, so affordable and packed with generous portions of vegetables, tofu and delicious crispy fried beancurd skin. I’d highly recommend!

I woke up this morning feeling sad that I can’t have my grandma’s red wine mee sua now that I’m vegan BUT LO AND BEHOLD!!!! It was so tasty and rich. Filled with mushrooms and mock meat. LOVE!!!

Delicious classic burger - I wish I took a picture of the layers! It was the perfect sandwich of an impossible meat patty, vegan cheese and pickles. The bun looked dry but was actually moist. A little on the pricier side - the classic is $16 but had to top up $4 to “veganize” it.

Green on Earth Vegetarian Cafe

This vegetarian mala was so delicious! Opted for the “normal” level spicy and it hit just right - mildly spicy but with a level of numbness that tingled in all the right places 👌🏻

Loved that they have a wide selection of mock seafood and meat, I’m still expanding my palette and discovering the different textures of plant-based meats that I like/dislike, so this was interesting for me.
