Mother's day is coming up and it cannot be said enough how my mother has championed the vegan journey of me and my sibling. A vegetarian, not only is she herself on a 90% plant-based diet, she makes sure all the festive feasts are 100% vegan, always.

She is also the chief innovator in the kitchen, coming up with different ideas to make vegan dairy alternatives and veganizing recipes. 

It is so comforting and encouraging when the person who nourished you from your very inception, is in full support and takes pride in your dietry and lifestyle choice. Thank you Amma ❤️🤗

Listen, I know it's super easy to make vegan mayo and it is probably better to, but I am lazy. Also, I am cheap! So, when the Indian vegan mayo market was selling me expensive vegan mayo, I decided to live without it. Until, this one appeared in my big basket 'vegan' search! 

For 89 bucks, this was adequately good! The texture is quite thick, a bit wobbly, but it's not a detractor. The taste is a tad too sweet for my liking, but, with mixing with other sauces or spices, it can work! Its gluten free too apparently! I had no idea gluten could be in mayo! 😛

I made a salad sandwich using this mayo, with toasted bread and vegan butter, and it turned out quite delicious.
