I use this short grain rice for making sushi at home~ I’m still trying to

find the right way to wash it, or the right amount if rice vinegar, because when i make it, it comes out a little sticky~ but I’ve still managed to make some yummy lunches with it~ #abillionlove

Calrose is my favorite rice. It's grown in California (hence the name) though Botan is

a distributor for JFC International who is Japanese. The consistency is perfect in my opinion, similar to sushi rice.

On trend with finishing up products, this was the last serving from our latest bag

of rice. I ashamedly must admit I’m not very good at making rice, always managing to go over or under cooked. Thankfully my dad took on making this dish and it had just the right consistency... it even made for great leftovers today! #veganin2020

This is definitely a #pantrystaple - it's easy to cook, tastes good and is versatile.

It can be used to make basic rice dishes, like peppers and rice, and it can be used to substitute sushi rice for sushi. The biggest downside for me is that this rice is not enriched like the more common long grain white rice. It's also slightly more expensive than long grain rice but overall a good product to have on hand.
