These candies are like peanut M&M’s with dark chocolate surrounding the peanuts. For those who have never had the peanut M&M’s, they are whole peanuts surrounded by chocolate encased in a candy shell. M&M’s usually uses milk chocolate, but they may now have a dark chocolate version too (unfortunately, not vegan). One should note, the dark chocolate used in this product is sweetened with sugar, so it’s not very bitter.
Nutritionally, 13 pieces (30g) will have 150 calories from 10g of fat (4g saturated fat from cocoa and peanuts), 16g of carbohydrates and 3g of protein. These are sold as 1.5-ounce (43g) pouches, or as a 13-ounce (369g) bag.
I do Ike them, and had bought them on sale for $1.99 in September of ‘22, when they were regularly priced at $2.60. Nowadays, you can find this at Stop & Shop for $2.29.
