Review of Chick’n & Pancakes at Love Handle by dafnelately

Oh, the thought of this #veganchicken 😣 If it weren’t the highlight of this dish it’d otherwise be a solid 4/5 stars. I had TiNDLE chicken for lunch today and it’s no way as foul as how this was prepared. The crust is what does it for me, and this just wasn’t battered too well; As if its appearance isn’t already telling. The #fakemeat has more of a flaky tuna-like consistency, hardly at all like chicken. Privé suffers from the same fall in using #tindle for their Katsu Kare, though there their batter is at least suffice to grace it. The maple syrup I found to be no hail mary for the texture of damp socks in my mouth but at least they were great with the nuggets we got on the side. The omnivore I shared our meals with agrees. Oh, and the #pancakes were lovely! So fluffy and chewy they’re the reason I’d go for this again! 🥞 So, I’m a loss at this dish. Do three fantastic pancakes make for two foul faux fowls?
