VEGAN

The NOMEAT Company

I got these from Iceland and it’s in their own brand vegan range (branded slightly differently though) but I’ve also seen this being sold on Ocado now so I think they’re letting the product be sold elsewhere. This is a really good vegan chicken alternative, the texture is realistic. The pieces are a bit soft (compared to Oumph for example) for me but they do crisp up a bit when fried. I used these in fajitas and they worked really well, they’d also be good in a pie or curry. They’re a bit expensive for an own-brand product I think, £3.50 a bag which is similar to Oumph (which I prefer and I think you get more of) but they’re easier to get hold of for me so I’ll definitely buy them again. They’re frozen which is handy.
