Review of Buddha Bowl at Soul Alife by plantiful

a colourful and healthy bowl of goodness! (clockwise from top) sauteed mushrooms have a great earthy flavour. turmeric cauliflower was a bit limp but nicely seasoned, not too salty and the turmeric wasn't overpowering. quinoa was unseasoned and pretty normal. tofu was a good balance between sweet and salty. edamame and chickpeas were plain and unseasoned which may not be for everyone esp if you don't like beans but I DOOOO so i enjoyed them. cherry tomatoes were plump and sweet. this usually comes with roasted sweet potatoes but i hate sweet potatoes (sorry @ sweet potato lovers) so i asked for a double portion of cauliflower. they give you a giant dollop of beetroot hummus which was a bit sweeter than i expected but very creamy and yummy nonetheless. only downside is that it's a tad pricey (about $10+ if i remember correctly) so i would eat this once in a while. #crf
