Review of Mushroom & Fennel Omnimince at PizzaExpress by sylchew

The warm anise-like flavor of the fennel when paired with the earthy note of the mushroom gave a unique gastronomic experience as fennel is not a common herb used in pizzas. This pretty much made me fall in love with its flavor and i don't usually like fennel. Love the complex aroma of the truffle oil as well and it would be better with more cheese and toppings especially near the edges. The omnipork is well seasoned inside out. I'd prefer this over the curried beyond beef pizza probably because this tasted less heavy for me :)
