A delicious, hearty, and tasty zucchini and macadamia patty is hidden under this huge pile of perfectly roasted veggies. The patty was crunchy and had a beautifully subtle savory taste. A large mushroom rested on top as literal layer of flavour, packed full of that lovely mushroom umami goodness. The roasted vegetables were perfectly cooked: firm but tender throughout. The beetroot relish was chunky and worked well with the creamy hummus dressing.

Unfortunately, it was a little expensive for roast veggies, salad and a patty. The simplicity of this dish is what I love, and for something so simple, I don’t see how it costs $24 when every other vegan main is $20 or under. I admit that the patty is exquisite, and certainly unique enough to be considered a specialty item, and the simple elements of roasted vegetables and mix leaf salad were perfectly done. Perhaps I am asking too much. I would definitely consider ordering this again; it really is that good.
