Review of Memphis Burger & Bacon Cheese Fries at Doomie's Home Cookin' by kienna

Next up from Doomie’s is their Memphis Burger, a burger stacked with meat-less BBQ pork, onion rings, lettuce, tomato, onions, house-made cheese, and pickles. I loved this burger SO much. It was just the right amount of tangy but also sweet, and the crunch of the lettuce added a nice freshness to the entire burger. The BBQ pork didn’t taste very meaty, but I actually prefer that over vegan meats that try and mimic the taste of actual meat, although that is personal preference. Honestly, I was really excited for the onion rings on the burger, but I couldn’t really taste it. The bacon cheese fries, though, were AMAZING. They were crispy but also gooey from the cheese, and the “bacon” added a nice texture to the loaded fries. They really reminded me of their non-vegan counterpart!
