For so long I was afforded the luxury of the fresh #noodles but they always

have egg 😵 So, I got this instead! Frankly, it’s not the best… 🫥 but like this #throwback post, I’m just glad I got there 😮‍💨

Now… what is #kolomee for if not to make #kolokmee 😛 So, that’s what I did. I was out of charsiew so this one had tempeh. It worked great as a flavour saver but the texture remained slightly stiff in the centre 🤨 I tried cooking it longer again but it kept overcooking 😳 Achieving that perfect QQ just wasn’t in the cards 🙂‍↕️ The best results only came as a fried #meekolok since it gets boiled then fried 🙃

This came at a very cheap price though! Just a mere RM5 or so 💵

I can’t necessarily recommend it but if you find yourself as desperate as I was, go for it 😅
