Saved 76%tried this isn’t bacon for the first time…it won’t be the last! 🥓🥓 It was absolutely delicious. Served on a deli kitchen focaccia, with olive spread and Hellman’s vegan Mayo 😋
tasted like the actual thing, sure it’s £3 which is questionable but it’s pretty good - one of my favourites so far. I know some vegans have this thing about eating meat alternative but I think it’s definitely getting more and more realistic which shows it’s becoming higher in demand!! 🤍
I don’t even crave real bacon anymore- so I’m not going to compare. The only negative is that the strips ‘separate’ easily when you try to get them out the packaging. But this isn’t a problem for me.

textures, odd look, no flavour. We found ‘This isn’t bacon’ and enjoyed it even though the shape isn’t particularly right. The flavour and texture made a good sandwich. THEN came streaky, we thought we’d try it but didn’t think it would be much good, but we’re proven 100% wrong. Slowly cooked on a medium high heat with a good tablespoon or 2 of oil (2 teaspoons wasn’t enough to make the consistency right).
Delicious, the ‘fat’ crispy and full of flavour. I believe a meat eater wouldn’t notice if they weren’t told.
Apart from the fact there is no stringy rubbery fat or rind. Which is a massive bonus (not to mention sentient beings suffering and cancer risks)
Impressed indeed..we are.
We don’t eat a lot of processed vegan foods especially meat. We cook. Lots of healthy fibre filled plants, legumes, grains & fruit.
Then tofu etc. But when a craving for something like a bacon sandwich comes and there is no time to marinate carrots or prepare and slow cook aubergines or tofu etc ‘This isn’t Bacon’ truly provides a fast and delicious convincing ‘fix’.
No other brand has come call use to this (Isn’t…)
flavouring when you first eat, like typical vegan bacon, but once you keep eating the fake bacon fat is DELICIOUS. It really reminds me of actual bacon fat, and it's so good. The first time I've felt like I was actually eating bacon/pork rather than vegan bacon for the first time.
The streaks are SUPER hard to get out of the container without breaking, but just push the pieces together while it's cooking and it'll reform.
