Okay when I went on my buying spree of these Purple Carrot frozen meals, I

almost didn’t buy this one. It has Brussels sprouts. Ewwwwww!!!!! I don’t like Brussels sprouts. They’re nasty. But then this has chipotle in it. I love me some chipotle in anything. I finally gave in and I was shocked. I liked this one. I even ate the Brussels sprouts. Whatever Purple Carrot did to those nasty things, they made them edible! It’s a miracle!

So many tasy veggies, topped with a sweet glazed sauce. Pairs well with tortillas &

tortilla chips

One of the few vegan options at your typical grocery store. Not too bad in

taste but very salty for something that is purely vegetable base.

This dish would be better if it had less salt and more sweet potatoes. A good option if you’re in a bind and this is the only option.

Purple Carrot has become my favorite brand of microwave dinner for a few reasons.. My

goal is to always eat healthy, but time and/or circumstances can find me in a situation where I benefit from keeping a frozen/microwave meal in my freezer. Purple Carrot makes me feel a little less guilty about not cooking. While sodium is high, over 700mg (typical for frozen dinners), they do ok in most other nutritional calculations. Their Maple Chipotle Veggie Bowl is absolutely delicious.

I accidentally purchased this and decided to eat it anyway. It had three things in

it that I do not care for -- Chipotle, brussel sprouts, and sweet potatoes. It tasted decent for having three strikes against it. I could only eat half. My Dad loved it and finish the other half.
