this is a better alternative compared to quorn as it is 100% vegan - no egg! prefer the taste of this too

These are my spouse's favourite. I love how they're perfect cubes!

Haha yes they really are perfect cubes! 🎲 This was the first time we'd tried them and actually thought they were better than several of the more expensive brands. 🙂

I was really impressed with these - very nicely seasoned, good sized soya protein chunks that hold together well when cooked in a sauce, and very good value. Perfect for curries, stir fries etc. 😋🥘🍜

So cool you have nasi goreng too? Is your girlfriend vegan as well?

Yeah she is! And we made this from scratch using a recipe from the Avant Garde Vegan. We miss food from Singapore so much, so had to give this a try, and loved the recipe.

Nah we did it together, she already didn't eat dairy, so we just took the next steps as a team! And we lived in Singapore for 2 years, so became quite familiar with the hawker centres haha

Definitely, we went to Vegan Campout 2019 in the UK, and it's so fun to have someone you love with you all the time through vegan journey. And yeah 94, - I was in Singapore in for Work, back in the UK now!

There's nothing wrong with that, much better to save money that way compared to spending it all on rent! Where did you go in the UK for your exchange?

These have become a standard necessity in our household. Sometimes #Tofu just isn’t for me - and having a 🐓 alternative to put into my #NasiGoreng is great!

These cook easily, (in the oven), taste great, and are cheap and cheerful! One to buy (Sainsbury’s stock in frozen).

Also ta to the Avant Garde Vegan for this recipe!

i’m a big fan of this brand. very affordable. high in protein. easy to prepare. and most importantly, DELICIOUS. it’s pretty dry and it looks like tofu and put it in anything you’d usually have sauce and it’ll fit
