A friend brought these over for us to have with some tea while our kids

played together. They are moist and moreish as described on the pack, and quite delicious. I will say I was a little irritated by the packaging with the ‘giving the chickens the day off’ byline because it has a lot of other positive messages about recyclable packaging and wanting an ‘epic planet for all things, great and small’, and that one felt a little tone deaf. I might’ve just been in a grumpy mood when I read it but it felt somehow off. when i first had these, i thought they were amazing & i don’t know if

they’ve changed the ingredients or if i realised how heavy it is a while after. it’s a little too oily for my liking, as if it’s been doused in it :( i like the sweetness, but if it was light & fluffy, then it’d be perfect to recommend to others! :)
