We have had a very hard day at the Refuge because we are on red alert for rain.
We have had to move some of the animals since the facilities we have have been flooded.
We have had to separate Iraultza, who is blind and very old, from her group and take her to a place where she can take shelter from the heavy rain.
And the worst still remains during the afternoon and evening, until tomorrow at least.
The caregivers are working very hard and we have managed to put all the most delicate ones in dry places where they cannot suffer the terrible consequences.
The sanctuary has become small, many facilities are precarious and we have to move.
Now, due to the urgency of the eviction, we have found another property with facilities to be able to undertake emergency adaptation and transfer. And we need the facilities there to be sufficient to not have these types of problems that put the health of the animals at risk.

Llevamos un día muy duro en el Refugio porque estamos en alerta roja por lluvias.
Hemos tenido que trasladar a algunos de los animales ya que las instalaciones que tenemos se han inundado.
A Iraultza, que es ciega y muy mayor, la hemos tenido que separar de su grupo y llevarla a un lugar donde poder refugiarse bien de la lluvia tan fuerte.
Y aún queda lo peor durante la tarde y noche, hasta mañana al menos.
Las cuidadoras y cuidadores están trabajando muy duro y hemos conseguido poner a todos los más delicados en lugares secos donde no puedan sufrir las terribles consecuencias.
El santuario se ha quedado pequeño, muchas instalaciones son precarias y tenemos que mudarnos.
Ahora, de urgencia por el desahucio, hemos encontrado otra finca con instalaciones como para poder afrontar una adecuación y traslado de urgencia. Y necesitamos que allí las instalaciones sean suficientes como para no tener este tipo de problemas que ponen en riesgo la salud de los animales.
