Hands-down our top highlight from our weekend away in Ghent: #pizza delivery from Plant a
Pizza š it was so good we ordered it two out of our four nights there (and yet all I ended up with as evidence of our sublime experience was this shoddy photoā¦ I know, I know ā¦ sorry š« )
Their claim to fame is that theyāre the first 100% plant-based pizzeria in Belgiumā¦ and I donāt need to try any others to say they must be the BEST as well.
So, the pizzaā¦ Iāll admit Iām part of Team #pineappleonpizza and couldnāt resist picking this one off the menu. Iām not usually a big fan of vegan āmeatā but I really enjoyed the āchick*nā and ābac*nā on this - it provided the necessary savoury element to perfectly complement the sweetness of the glazed pineapple.
The piece de resistance was, of course, the base and the crust š I swear Iām just about drooling right now at the mere thought of it. So incredibly good.
Long story short: donāt leave Ghent without trying one of these pizzas! You can thank me afterwards š
