Absolutely exhausted. It was such a long but exciting weekend, and somehow in my exhaustion,
I'm attempting to write a review while getting ready for work at 4 am🤣
We stopped in #Dayton for breakfast on the way to Cincinnati, and we are BIG FANS of Ghostlight #Coffee in Dayton. They have several locations with different vibes and, most importantly, to note different menus. We chose the Midtown location. The atmosphere is so nice. There are long and wide tables for people to work, individual nooks, and the entire coffee shop is decorated in greenery with darkly colored walls for a moody vibe. It's a great place to hang out and talk or to get some work done.
The two Ghost Tarts we ordered were overall good and fun to try. This one didn't exactly remind us of s'mores, maybe if they added daddies #vegan marshmallows? These made from scratch Ghost Tarts had a great flakey pastry style crust, #chocolate frosting and a chocolate filling. It wasn't necessary our favorite and it wasn't the most exciting, but it was good and a solid choice that pairs nicely with coffee on a rainy morning. Ghostlight has a very wide selection of #vegan bakery items which is fabulous! These are $4.95 each, which isn't horrible.
