similar to my last review, the georgia peach sloppy joe is of my favorite sandwiches
and also made it into my list of favorite restaurant orders! it is a consistent go-to order from dharma and i used to love it every time! that being said, my trips to dharma over august 2023 (reopening) to now (april 2024) have shown a decrease in quality and quantity + an increase in inconsistency.
because this sandwich was an all time favorite and i saw the quality decreasing at this restaurant, i held off ordering it until now because i was scared of what i would get.. i paid about $16 (that is rounded up from like 15.85 or something) for this sandwich. if you click on this menu item the old sandwich pictures are still there and show this massive sandwich packed with “beef” tips and slathered in a delicious georgia peach bbq sauce. this sandwich was not that. if i am paying about $16 for this sandwich i would really enjoy at least having enough sandwich filling to be seen underneath the bun. the beef tips tasted fine, but they barely covered the bun and i don’t think that’s very fair considering how much they used to pile on and also the pride to portion ratio of this sandwich.
just like the last review, i loved this sandwich so so much but as of right now i cannot recommend it (or even dharma at this point) because you don’t even know what you will get.
