#turmericlatte is a very soothing, nourishing drink for me.
It’s not common to see it on
the menu so I seized the opportunity when I saw Cafe Gourmand had it..
They have several plant based milks to choose from. I went for oat.
The generous glass was filled with the perfect balance of oat milk and turmeric and thankfully devoid of the salt that some cafes include in their recipe for this drink.
Apart from enjoying the taste of turmeric, it’s good to know it has anti-inflammatory properties, so it’s doing your system good too 🌼
This area of London is full of cafes but not all of them equal in their offers of vegan food.
Whilst Cafe Gourmand doesn’t show a lot of choice on the menu, they are very willing to work something out and improvise.
