As many of you may have guessed, I grabbed a variety of items from #bakerbenjis.

I did share items with others. But those I shared with have caught on to my tricks in regards to when I bring food and not telling them it is vegan until it has been eaten. 😁

Last night, I was asked by a non-vegan of the doughnut I gave them was vegan, or as my dad asks “is it made from alfalfa?”. I was told that the doughnut they had from Baker Benji’s was good and they were unable to tell the difference from a non-vegan doughnut.

In regards to this chocolaty delight I had this morning for breakfast, I expected it to have some type of filling inside once I cut into it. But there was no filling. To be truthful, it did not need any filling with the chocolate covering. The chocolate frosting song with the chocolate sprinkles gave it just the right amount of sweetness. This doughnut had a great balance on sweetness and other flavors. It wasn’t too dense either. I really liked this doughnut and glad I only bought one. If I had bought more than that, I would not have been able to control myself and would have eaten three! 😋

In regards to Baker Benji’s, their vegan doughnut selection is available on Fridays and Saturdays. They o carry the Vegan Fruit Turnovers daily and occasionally have vegan cookies. They did say they can make vegan goods to order such as cakes, cupcakes and brownies. A weeks advance notice is what they need for a special order of vegan products. I’d recommend calling ahead or plan to visit them on a Friday or Saturday to insure they have the vegan products in stock. Trust me, it is well worth the trip.

Or you should have any questions for them, I have found they are VERY responsive to their Facebook Messenger.
