Welcome to Pitzer College! Pitzer is part of the Claremont Colleges consortium, just east of Los Angeles, California. All five undergraduate schools in the consortium were established in a different decade, each specializing in a field relevant to that decade. Pitzer was founded in the ‘60s, so it is renowned for its environmental analysis program and student body of social, political, and environmental activists. I was thrilled to see the quality and variety of plant-based food offered at and around Pitzer as well as the large and enthusiastic vegan community. However, it was overwhelming to have so many dining halls and cafes to choose from. So let me give you the rundown on plant-based food at Pitzer and my off-campus favorites!
