The possibilities with this is endless! ➡️ (See 2nd photo) Used it in my buttermilk marinade along with cashew mylk for my fried vegan ch*cken (made with oyster mushrooms) and it was fantastic! While time-consuming: prep was around an hour and a half, marinade was 3 hours in the fridge. It sure was fun to fry some cronch without any cruelty with @veganlion 🥰 I also used the leftover marinade in my jasberry rice risotto and still have more to make into a pasta base.

Recipe
Marinade - cashew yoghurt, cashew mylk, lemon juice, salt
Batter - black pepper, cayenne powder, paprika, whole lot of garlic powder
Assemble marinade into a bowl and allow it to chill by itself for 5 mins, thereafter put it in the fridge covered for 3 hours to soak. Perfect time to prepare another dish or just watch Uncut Gems like we initially planned.
Once the 3 hours is over, start heating up a deep pan to fry, use vegetable oil while assembling your batter.
The frying part is a no-brainer, use tongs to flip periodically, ensure it is fried to golden brown then put it over kitchen paper to remove any excess oil
Pair it with your favourite condiments!!
