I use Daiya several times a week, with my favorite as a topping on homemade

pizzas! These shreds taste amazing! My other regular go-to’s are quesadillas and wraps! Don’t forget you can also make queso blending this with their PepperJack shreds! Check out this sale I found here in Indiana!

I always use this vegan cheese when I make pizza but lately I am using

them in super quick and easy homemade pizza rolls! I used crescent rolls for the crust (either Pillsbury or Immaculate brand), with vegan pepperoni (I tried Yves and Sweet Earth Pepperoni), marinara sauce and vegan mozzarella. Fold them all into the triangle dough and put them in a muffin tin, bake according to crescent roll instructions. They were delicious!!

I just don’t think I’m a fan of the Daiya flavor. It has a weird

plastic taste to me and the cheese shreds feel wet and slimy. The only positive is that it melts well. I’ll stick to the Violife brand next time. Price: $5 at Whole Foods.

Update: this is regularly the only cheese shreds found at Walmarts throughout the country, and the price has come down to $3/bag. So I buy this quite often now and have learned to love the flavor.
